Somewhere between the end and the beginning... ~And I'm one of the weirdest of them all, I guess... ~
My head is getting dizzier and dizzier as each passing hour takes me a step closer to the next exam... And my body gets number and more beaten and broken as each minute brings the end of the exam period nearer. Slowly but surely the end is coming... Ah, kami-sama onegai ne... why won't you bring it closer...
And at the same time, it feels that just beyond, at the very tip of my toes lies something shiny and new... And that not just because the last exam next week will bring me that much closer to my Master's Degree Diploma... ^^
As I take another sip of my drink and another drag of the cigarette, my mind wanders through the last couple of days... My head fills up with hundreds and thousands of images, sounds, words, emotions... It's so sudden and overwhelming that I find myself cuddling in the corner of the sofa with my eyes closed. The faint sun rays hit my burning from the alcohol face (god, so little can make me drunk... I'm letting myself go, really), is it morning already... Not again... I just wish that this insomnia at least contributed to my scribbling, but alas... Hopefully in a couple of weeks' time I'd be able to produced something worthy of more than my scrap-book.
Anyhow... I've been thinking lately... and especially since my friends' wedding this Friday... Good things, real things, precious things require time and patience... We waited for them to get together more than six years now... and finally they did... Looking into their eyes, I do see forever... ^^
The only thing I can hope for now is to find my own forever... In front of me - the open highway, the wind in my hair, on my lips - my own bizzare song, stars in my eyes... It's calling, tomorrow... Can't you hear it?... It's calling our names, our paths... We just have to find the courage to walk down our own way... not to follow... I want to lose myself in your eyes again... Will you let me...~
